Dr. Zirkle is an accomplished executive with 15 years of experience working in the clinical informatics research and health information technology industry with expertise in research network and infrastructure development and sustainability, Big Data, patient-centered outcomes research and stakeholder engagement, healthcare delivery (learning health systems), mental health, and interdisciplinary-based translational research program management. As Executive Director of the BRAINCommons, she provides strategic direction on development, optimization and sustainability of all components of the BRAINCommons (BC) platform, spearheading the journey of the BC from vision to reality in support of accelerated biomarker discovery for the development of diagnostics and personalized therapeutics for the brain health community.
